Amy M. Shumate
Mrs. Shumate has been serving the Dothan area for over 30 years. She attended Troy University and graduated with a degree in history and political science. She then attended the University of Alabama School of Law where she earned her J.D. While attending Law School at Alabama, Mrs. Shumate was the Lead Articles Editor for Alabama Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif as she finished top 10% of her Law School Class.
During her career, Mrs. Shumate has handled a variety of cases and has the experience to tackle the most complex of legal issues. Over her 30 year career, Mrs. Shumate has continued to build on her already excellent reputation due to her highly sought-after legal mind and passion for each of her clients.
