Mr. Shumate was born and raised in Dothan Alabama and thanks to his Mother, took an interest in the legal profession at a young age. Mr. Shumate attended the University of Alabama and graduated with a degree in criminal justice. He then attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where he earned his J.D. Mr. Shumate is currently focusing his practice on criminal defense and family law.
